Chris Hughton knows that teams do not win points for plaudits, but takes some heart from the positive coverage the side received for the performance against Arsenal.
While still desperately disappointed while reflecting on the defeat back at Spurs Lodge, Chris still feels there are good things to take from the game to build on for the future.
"What was good, is that the press reports over a period of two days, looked at it as a good Tottenham performance and one that we were very unfortunate not to get something from," he considered.
"There was also some nice comments from their manager Arsene Wenger afterwards.
"Of course, this does nothing to take away that disappointment. It was a game that we could have got something from and possibly could have won it.
"You don't get points for plaudits, but there are things that we can take from the game. I thought it was a good performance and, apart from the chances we had, we limited them to very few chances on our goal.
"There are things that we can build on for sure."
