New stadium - latest photographs

Here are the latest photographs from the new stadium site, taken this week.

We reported this morning how we'd reached a milestone in the build with all the stands now 'joined up' - you can read that story and watch a video on the progress of the South Stand HERE...

Our latest update shows work on our state-of-the-art retractable pitch has begun, with 30-tonne steel trusses being installed on site - check out the image below and numbers five, six and seven in the gallery above.

You will also notice photographs of curved eaves which are now being installed at the top of the north-west corner. Check out images three and four in the gallery. These curved eaves are made of aluminium and will go all around the stadium. A point of interest - apart from a slight raise in the roof towards the centre circle, this is the highest point of the stadium.
