The award - handed over at a ceremony in Wood Green, North London - is an acknowledgement of our long-standing and ever increasing commitment to the local community through our football programmes that saw over 300,000 young people participate in a diverse and exciting range of coaching courses last year.
"The Club have long been dedicated to innovation, inclusion, delivery and giving something back to the area - this has been recognised by the award," said Kathryn Robinson, Tottenham Hotspur Community Director (pictured right).
"Through Tottenham Hotspur Community, the local community of Haringey and surrounding areas have been able to take advantage of the creative programming our coaches have developed and have benefitted from the capital investment at the White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre."
The Haringey City Growth Business Awards were devised to celebrate achievements of business and showcase enterprise in the area.
"Council Leader Charles Adje added: "My hearty congratulations are due to all the winners. They have done a great job in showing what can be achieved through hard work, imagination, skill and, of course, business sense. Well done!"
The Club was presented with the Best Corporate Social Responsibility award by Haringey Council at the Borough's City Growth Business Awards.
