Club to show support for Ryan this weekend

Fri 27 January 2017, 10:45|Tottenham Hotspur

The Club was this week heartened to learn that Ryan Mason continues to make good progress in hospital following surgery to the skull fracture he sustained while playing for Hull City last weekend.

A product of our academy, Ryan joined Hull in August after making 70 first team appearances for us. He remains extremely highly-regarded by everyone at the Club.

As a show of our support and feelings towards a player who proved such a credit to Tottenham Hotspur during his time here, our current players will wear specially-commissioned warm-up t-shirts on the pitch at White Hart Lane prior to Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie against Wycombe Wanderers, featuring 'Get well soon Ryan' messaging on the front and 'Mason 8' - in reference to the midfielder's most recent squad number with us - on the reverse.

We remain in regular contact with those close to Ryan and our colleagues at Hull City and we continue to wish him a full and speedy recovery.
