White Hart Lane will join some of the world's most famous landmarks - including the Empire State Building, the Eiffel Tower and the Sydney Opera House - in turning off its lights in support of Earth Hour.

Earth Hour, a WWF initiative, will take place this Saturday, March 28, 8:30pm until 9:30pm and aims to be the world's largest mass participation event.

Last year, 50 million people across 35 countries switched off their lights for an hour. This year WWF's Earth Hour hopes to reach a billion people, connecting the world to tackle climate change.

Earth Hour encourages business groups and individuals to turn off their lights for an hour to raise awareness about global warming.

With only days to go before Earth Hour, this is your chance to join the campaign. No matter where you are, it's time to turn off your computers, turn off your lights, and help the planet.

To sign up and show your support to the campaign visit the official website - www.wwf.org.uk/earthhour.
