We are the proud sponsors of this year's Tottenham Carnival as we bring our 'Spurs Zone' to the event - come down and support both Tottenham and the Club on Saturday, June 21!
We will have a float in the parade, which begins from Eade Road, N4, at 11am and continues through the heart of Tottenham, concluding at Bruce Castle Park at 1pm.
Our float will include participants from a cross-section of projects from within the London Borough of Haringey that work in association with the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation - including young people from the Kickz and Positive Futures projects, children from The Vale school and children from our Partially Sighted Junior football team.
The float will also become a mobile football freestyling exhibition to a backdrop of street dancers from the Kickz Project.
THE SPURS ZONE
Located in the tennis court area of Bruce Castle Park, the Spurs Zone is host to several football-related activities, including...
* 4 v 4 Zone / 2 v 2 Zone
* Freestyle Zone
* Penalty Zone
* Skill Stations Zone
* Shooting Zone
* Shooting Speed Cage
The 4 v 4 and 2 v 2 contests, along with the other range of fun footballing disciplines, are open to all and there will be prizes awarded on the hour. Participants who take part each skill station will have their completed cards entered into a Prize Draw with the winner taking possession of the newly released Spurs home shirt.
The Spurs Zone will be an Inclusive Football Circuit where young people from the Capag and Dazu organisations will be involved. Capag is an organisation originated by local parents to roll out activities for their disabled children and their siblings. Dazu was established to run inclusive services for both disabled and non-disabled young people, also running the Enfield Young Carers Project.
The Spurs Zone will house a marquee for Carnival visitors to pop in to learn about and discuss the work of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.
