Club clamps down on black market tickets

Have you sold your ticket or match voucher on?<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp&#59; </SPAN><B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">BEWARE. </B>We've got our eyes on you.</SPAN> <P>In-house investigators tracked down over 250 tickets that had been sold on the black market before last&nbsp&#59;Saturday's big game against Manchester United.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P>These tickets originated from Club box holders, Season Ticket Holders and Members. The re-sell prices for this match were exorbitant.<o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P>Names have now been passed onto the ticket office and the Club are seeking to prosecute anyone touting tickets including ticket agencies.<o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P>Ticket office manager Karen Murphy said: "We do care about how fans are consistently exploited by touts at White Hart Lane. We are constantly trying to improve our technology to ensure it becomes harder for these unscrupulous 'supporters' to purchase match tickets.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp&#59; </SPAN>We will continue to work with the police to improve the situation throughout the season."<o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P>If you have been a victim and purchased a match ticket from an unauthorised source then 'help the Club help you' in prosecuting the persons responsible &mdash&#59; please contact '' <P>The Club would like to remind all Season Ticket Holders and Club Members both books and match tickets are non-transferrable.<P>Any supporter found to be selling match tickets or books to a third party will be banned indefinitely without compensation or re-imbursement and may be prosecuted.<o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P>&nbsp&#59;
