The scenes at the final whistle will no doubt live long in the memories of Spurs fans young and old for many years to come as we captured our first silverware in nine years.
Celebrations among supporters up and down the country went long into the night, and we would like to thank our wonderful fans for their terrific support at Wembley, from around the country and throughout the season so far.
Chairman Daniel Levy said: “This is the culmination of a lot of hard work from everybody at the Club over the last few years and it is a wonderful feeling for fans and players alike.
“Since arriving at the Club, I had always hoped that we would experience a day like Sunday, and to win a trophy at Wembley is a special achievement.”
No doubt fans, players and staff alike will be on a considerable high for some time following this terrific victory, but it is also important to remember our season is far from over.
With a UEFA Cup in its latter stages and finishing as high as possible in the Barclays Premier League now our priorities, the team will be keen to see what else can be achieved during the remainder of the season.
Today is a special day for everybody associated with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club after our incredible League Cup success at Wembley.
