Clive Allen acknowledged that it didn't quite happen for his reserve side as their winning ways were halted following a goalless draw with Norwich City.
The boys showed the more attacking intent at Broadhall Way but a stubborn Norwich, with keeper Joe Lewis performing well in the second half, held on to the 'frustration' of Clive.
"It didn't happen and I think frustration is the word," reflected the Development Coach afterwards. "We dominated for long periods of the game and perhaps we didn't have the craft or guile to open them up for a really clear opportunity.
"We did have chances, I thought we needed to work the goalkeeper more and we did in the second half. The play in the final third was disappointing, the crossing positions were decent at times without us adding the quality we know we can provide.
"We paid the price for that, they came for 0-0 and went away with a point. It was frustrating for everybody, the lads understand that and we try and win every game."
