We’ve been like two different teams of late at home and away with quite amazing contrasts in performances against Sunderland and Liverpool at home and the trips to Chelsea and Aston Villa.
That is reflected in the respective league records. Six wins and a draw in our seven home matches is right up there with the best — one draw and six defeats in seven matches on our travels is not.
Clemence, who has been a part of those contrasting performances, suggested: “I think at home we go out believe that we are not going to lose. We are all confident at home. Maybe it is in our heads now when we are away from home. Perhaps it’s a confidence thing but to be honest, it’s hard to say.”
Away form will be far from our minds this weekend though as we defend our unbeaten record at the Lane against Leicester City.
Clemence added: “Everyone has just seen against Liverpool how we can play and we’ve got to try and put that into our away form. I’m sure it will come. If we keep playing like this at home the away form will follow.”

Stephen Clemence is convinced mind games are playing with our form away from White Hart Lane.
