Our club partners San Jose Earthquakes made it three out of three in friendlies in England with a 2-0 victory against MLS rivals Colorado Rapids on Friday.
The team from California had already taken the scalps of West Ham on Monday and our Spurs XI team on Wednesday when they faced the Rapids at Spurs Lodge this afternoon.
An early goal from Ryan Johnson set the Earthquakes on their way and the win was clinched by Quincy Amarikwa's goal - a fine finish from Cornell Glen's assist, pictured below - six minutes from time.
Goalkeeper Joe Cannon produced a fine save in each half to keep the Rapids at bay and ensure the Earthquakes completed their hat-trick of wins without conceding a goal.
The Earthquakes have been based at Spurs Lodge all week as they prepare for the start of the 2010 MLS season. They kick-off against 2009 MLS champions Real Salt Lake on March 27.
The travelling party will take in our Premier League clash against Blackburn at the Lane on Saturday before heading back to the States.
