From Mark Brown, Romford
On the momentous day of Christian Gross' first training session at Spurs Lodge I threw a sicky, gave the kids a day off and dragged the whole family down to greet the Swiss slaptop.
As we waited with the growing masses at the gate gaining autographs from the squad, David Ginola exited so we queued and jostled for ages just to get a quick look at the great man.
He signed for everyone, drove off and we reformed at the gates to await the next player. Unbeknown to us, as he drove away he saw a friend parked just outside and quickly pulled over to chat with this guy. In doing so, he sat himself on my bonnet chatting for a good 5 minutes as my wife (who could not be bothered to wait at the gate) had the best view of the day while sitting in our car reading "Take a Break".
