When I was in hospital for a leg lengthening operation at Stanmore orthopaedic hospital in Edgware, Les Ferdinand came to visit me!
Well, that's not strictly true. He came in the place of his good friend Paul Ince to see a cancer patient who was a Liverpool fan. Les brought in a signed Liverpool shirt which the young lad was very grateful for.
He was just standing over there and no-one was talking to him. My dad and I, who are both Spurs fans, called him over and were talking to him about all things football.
He was such a decent and genuine guy who just loves playing football for Spurs. We told him that he would go to the World Cup with Mr Hoddle and he did!
I had my photo taken with him and then he signed it. It was a real pleasure to meet him.

Les Ferdinand - I recently was shopping in a town outside of London called Stevenage when I saw Les Ferdinand and another man. I went over to him and asked him if he was 'Les Ferdinand' and he said "yes mate" - so I asked him if he could write something for my daughter 'Lisa' and he did. He also signed a book for me.

Having seen Spurs win the Worthington Cup Semi-Final at Selhurst Park, I ran on the pitch along with many other supporters.
Anyway, as I was running thinking to myself, what happens next? I came upon the magical David Ginola. I politely told him how well he had played and could I please have a Kiss. He agreed and gave me a peck on the cheek - very nice too!
