Spurs U19s 2 Leicester City 0
Pat Holland was full of praise for his defence as the Under-19s beat Leicester City on Saturday.
"The back four were excellent," said Pat. "It was comfortable but it wasn't as good a performance as we produced against Newcastle."
Dean Marney opened the scoring after 15 minutes with a fine opportunist goal. He intercepted a pass and after the goalkeeper saved his initial effort, was first to the rebound to score.
Leicester then had a man sent off for a late challenge on Chris Herron and Pat suggested this 'changed the game completely'.
In control after the break, Ben Bowditch finally added the second goal after 70 minutes - steering the ball home after picking up a poor punch out from the goalkeeper.
"We were always in control without being that convincing," Pat concluded.
