Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Life could only have got better for Christian Ziege after last week’s humiliation at the hands of England — it did that and more against Southampton.
Christian was a disbelieving unused substitute at the Olympic Stadium in Munich as Germany were ripped to pieces in the World Cup qualifier.
It’s fair to say his team-mates were happy to remind him of the result on his return to Spurs Lodge last Monday but Christian put that disaster behind him to bag the vital opening goal against the Saints in Sunday’s win.
“It has been a difficult week,” he admitted. “First of all I was disappointed because I didn’t play and then had to sit on the bench and lose a big game like that - then I had to come back to England!
“But I just thought about Didi Hamman at Liverpool. He played and he has five or six team-mates at Liverpool who played for England.
“I got a bit of stick but it was okay. Maybe if I’d have played it would have been worse but I was on the bench and couldn’t change anything.”
Thankfully, he was in a position to affect Sunday’s proceedings at the Lane and his magnificent finish from Simon Davies’ pass paved the way for a vital first Premiership win.
Christian reflected: “First of all it was very important that we got the three points to lift us up the table.
“It was important to score at that time. I was looking up at the scoreboard before and I thought to myself it would be a good time to score and win the game. Then it was me! That doesn’t matter though and the most important thing was to win.
“We created a lot of chances in the first half and then played even better in the second half. We deserved the win.
“It has been difficult for us. Against Aston Villa, if we’d have scored the first goal we could have gone on to win the game.
“Everton was a good performance but nine against 11 was very difficult.
“We then had a step back at Blackburn but still created chances and even there could have drawn. But the pressure was building and it was great to win the game.
“The best thing for me is that I can now enjoy that I scored. My first goal was at Blakcburn but it didn’t really make a difference. This one did.”
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
