David Pleat says he's pleased with Christian Ziege's progress - but hopes our form can keep him out of the side!
The German star has played two full reserve games but has not been included in the squad for Leicester City on Sunday.
Both parties are happy not to push too hard after Christian's 10 months on the sidelines following his serious thigh injury.
Caretaker boss David said: "Christian is a very hard working, sensible professional and he's been doing well. He's reserve left-back at the moment but he needs a couple more games - as soon as he's had those games, he will be challenging again.
"I'm very happy with the left side of our team at the moment in the shape of a 4-4-2.
"Not in a nasty way, but I'm almost hoping we'll do well enough to keep him out of the team."
