Christian on team's firepower

Christian Eriksen summed up our attacking performance against West Ham by confirming: “Everyone wanted to score!”

A brace from Harry Kane, coupled with goals from Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker, saw us defeat the Hammers 4-1 at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Dele Alli and substitute Ryan Mason also hit the woodwork as we subjected the visitors to wave after wave of attack, with Christian underlining how the margin of victory could have been even greater following a fine afternoon’s work against our London rivals.

“We took the chances that we had, we got a bit of luck on one or two, but we scored four goals and could have scored more,” said the Danish international midfielder, who came up with two assists on the day.

“I think everyone wanted to score. Everybody got in the right positions and we made sure we took the opportunities we had so we’re all pretty satisfied with the result.

“The third goal was probably the most important because you know when you’re 2-0 up anything can happen. But we got ourselves on top and when we scored the third goal we showed we can finish it off how we’re supposed to.”
