No sooner had the paint dried on our best-ever campaign in the Premier League - finalised in style with our record away win (7-1) at Hull - and the outstanding Danish playmaker was looking ahead.
Speaking at the end of the Club's successful week in Hong Kong, Christian said: "Look at the way we finished the season, 13 goals in three days, a wonderful way to finish and now it's all about how we start next season.
"We're always looking forward, professional players are made like that. We'll enjoy the summer, look at what we did this season and then enjoy our holidays, then look to get straight back into it next season."
Now on international duty, Christian hit the best form of his Spurs career last term and finished with 15 assists, second (to City's Kevin de Bruyne) in the overall Premier League standings for 2016-17.
He was involved in four of those final seven goals at Hull, including an assist to help Harry Kane get to 29 goals and retain the Premier League's Golden Boot.
"He was injured for a while and ended up with almost 30 goals in 30 matches (29 in 31), what a record," added Christian.
"We're all delighted for him to win the Golden Boot. We knew he'd be there in the last week and it was up to us to create the chances. We did that, and he delivered."
