Chris on Sweden trip

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Chris Hughton reports that the travelling party for the training camp in Sweden is as big as he has known in his time.

The players set off on Sunday for the camp that includes games against Falkenberg FF, FC Copenhagen and FC Trollhättan. It provides an opportunity for Jacques Santini and Martin Jol to assess the whole squad including members of Clive Allen's development squad.

Chris, confirmed as part of Jacques' coaching team this week, feels it is the ideal trip for the Head Coach and Martin to get to know the players.

"The nice thing is that we are taking a very big group of players, probably as big a group as I've known in my time going together on one trip," considered Chris.

"The real benefit for Jacques and Martin is that it will give them a very early opportunity to get to know the players and see them playing and training. That is a real bonus to do it so early in the pre-season.

"It will be nice for the younger players to get the chance to work with Jacques and see what his demands are."
