Supporters again have the chance to play on the hallowed turf here at White Hart Lane in front of 36,000 fans, with the chance to actually score a goal and at the same time pick up a Thomson holiday worth £1,000.
As usual Spurs legend Martin Chivers will be on the pitch describing the action and he is particularly looking forward to seeing Spurs old boy Teddy Sheringham back at the Lane:
"It will be great to see Teddy back here because I'm a big fan of his. He served the Club well and as a former striker myself I enjoyed watching him play."
A Spurs fan as a boy, Teddy first joined us from Nottingham Forest 1992 and amassed 124 goals in 277 appearances. Martin himself plundered 174 goals in 355 games and believes they would have made a good partnership had they played in the same era:
"Teddy is a very intelligent player, scoring goals and making goals. Yes I think we would have worked well together because my partnership with Martin Peters worked so well and he was a very intelligent player as well in the same mould as Teddy. It will be a tough game for us though because they work hard as a team and have that bit of quality in Teddy and the likes of Patrick Berger. If we perform as we know we can, we should come out on top."
Look out for Shoot for a Holiday on during half time on Saturday and don't forget, Season Ticket Holders and members can now get 5% off the cost of their holidays when they book on the Spurs Holiday Line 08705 502 568.
Shoot for a Holiday is back for our home game against Portsmouth - and the return of Teddy Sheringham - on Saturday 7th February.
