A previous winner of the Queens Golden Jubilee Award, Kith and Kids has over the past 35 years, supported children and young adults with learning disabilities and is based off White Hart Lane in Tottenham.
The 26-mile marathon takes place on Sunday April 17th, starting in Greenwich Park and finishing on the Mall. With a month to go before the big race, Chirpy has been in training for several weeks and is now hard at work raising money in order to meet his target of £1,500.
Marjolein de Vires, Kith and Kids Director commented: “Chirpy has taken a very brave and admirable decision to run the race in aid of Kith and Kids. Naturally we’re absolutely delighted that he has done so and I’m confident he’ll be literally flying around the course!”
