Club mascot Chirpy came bearing gifts to what was an enjoyable family day in the London Borough of Enfield last week.
The local authority held a Teddy Bears' Picnic in Broomfield Park, Palmers Green, to celebrate the national Love Parks Week.
Over 2,000 people attended on a beautiful sunny day, and Chirpy joined in the fun, bringing with him two of Spurs' own Teddy Bears the Club had donated for a raffle in aid of Children in Need.
The charity's own mascot, Pudsley, was also in attendance, along with fellow famous bears Rupert and Paddington who, along with our familiar cockerel, met youngsters and joined in the picnic!
To keep the crowds entertained throughout the afternoon there was also a performance from the Crazy Bears.
The day was hosted by Enfield's Mayor, Councillor Eleftherios Savva (pictured left with Chirpy and our bears).
Councillor Michael Lavender, Enfield cabinet member for place shaping and enterprise, said: "There has been an astonishing public response to a day designed to celebrate our parks. I am so pleased that children and families took the opportunity to enjoy the day, after such a dismal week for weather. I hope that many of them will take advantage of Enfield's wonderful parks and open spaces during the school holidays."
