"It has not been a good start for the team with just four points from six games," reasoned Pascal. "I think with one or two wins we will get going again and show our true form.
"I don't know why it has happened this way, we have played against Manchester United and Arsenal and had a lot of goalscoring opportunities. We didn't take them and when you then concede it makes it difficult for the team.
"We play on Thursday and it will be a good game for the team and fans with it being at home. If we can win this game we will take a lot of confidence into the Bolton game. If we do well in these two games then confidence will be high and the season will really start for us."
Despite the not so profitable start to the season for the team as a whole, Pascal himself has looked sharp and full of energy down the right flank. He puts it down to completing a pre-season this time around.
"I did the pre-season this time. Last season I didn't do anything because I went to the World Cup and then came back and moved from Wigan to here. I have now done everything with the team, I feel good and confident in my form now," he added, before looking back to last season's UEFA Cup adventure.
"It was a good experience because we played well. We lost only one game and, if we start well this season, I think we can do better.
"We want to win something this season and the UEFA Cup would be good for everybody."
