'Bide our time, take our chances' - Ben

Ben Davies says we’ll need to be clinical in front of goal if we’re to take anything from our clash with Chelsea today.

Our Welsh international left-back is understandably keen for us to keep a second consecutive clean sheet against a top three side at White Hart Lane, following Sunday’s goalless encounter with Manchester United.

And while expecting a particularly tough test against Jose Mourinho’s men, the 21-year-old reckons we’re capable of making it six games unbeaten in all competitions as long as we take any chances that come our way.

“It’s not going to be an easy game one bit, but we’ve got to have the same mentality that we had on Sunday,” he said.

“We need to have the same work ethic and if we can do that, then who knows what can happen?

“We may have to bide our time and weather any storms that come from them during the course of the match, but every team gets patches in a game and when ours come, it’s up to us to get the goals.”
