Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

This afternoon's match is the 21st League encounter here between the two sides. Of the previous 20, we have won ten, Charlton six with four drawn matches.

Last season's corresponding fixture - played on March 18, 2002 - saw Chris Powell net the only goal 20 minutes from time to record The Addicks first victory here since 1987. The crowd figure was 29,602 plus a Sky live audience.

Our last win here over Charlton was on March 10, 1990. John Polston, Gary Lineker and David Howells scored in a 3-0 victory.

Luke Young returns to White Hart Lane today. He joined Charlton in July, 2001 having made 76 senior appearances for us after progressing through our youth ranks.
