Over the past four years the Club and its players have continued to show support for the work of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation - and now fans have their chance to do the same.
Get your Tottenham Hotspur Foundation Charity Wristbands from Spurs Stores or ONLINE and take pride in the work your club does off the pitch - as well as on it.
These exclusive bands, as worn in the pictures above by Heurelho Gomes, Gareth Bale, and comedian Michael McIntyre, come in traditional Spurs colours of either white or navy blue with profits from the sales going to the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.
At just £2 your purchase will go towards helping the club's official charitable body continue to create life-changing opportunities for people within our communities.
Spurs fanatic McIntyre said: "I'm wearing my wristband to support the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, this Club is like a family and the Foundation does great things, I encourage everyone to get behind it!"
The Wristbands have been produced by Sportbands UK, founded by lifelong Spurs fan David Banks (pictured above with Gomes).
He turned his attentions to the merchandise industry after a serious head injury suffered in June 1997 left him partially paralysed and unable to continue in his original profession as a leisure promotions manager.
David said: "I cannot do the work I used to but this project I have started has really helped me feel part of the work force again. So although I cannot go out to work, I can do this project from home and get satisfaction that I might have achieved something.
"It all started one day when my eight-year-old nephew who was wearing different coloured rubber wristbands asked me if any football teams made any. After doing a lot of searching I could not find any team who made them so I thought I would start designing them and that is what I have been doing.
"Today a lot of people wear rubber wristbands either in support of a charity or as a fashion statement. I have decided to make a wristband of this style because I am sure it will help you raise money for the Foundation and supporters would love to say that by wearing a band they are supporting the charity."
The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation uses sport and in particular football as a vehicle to create life changing opportunities for children, groups and individuals within our communities.
This is achieved by working with a wide range of partners including central and local government departments, schools, colleges, businesses and charitable trusts to design programmes that engage with all sections of the community.
Activities are based on a belief that engagement through sport can result in far more than developing sports skills. It can harness a sense of mutual respect and trust, widen horizons, raise aspirations and provide opportunities to young people regardless of race, sex, age or creed.
Daniel Levy, Chairman, Tottenham Hotspur, said: "It is our hope that the Wristbands will enable Spurs fans to engage with the Foundation and display their support for our work. Monies received from the sales of the bands could make a huge difference to so many local people's lives and it is why we encourage as many supporters as possible to get behind this campaign and show their colours."
