After a magnificent first weekend of the Superleague Formula, Duncan Tappy and Tottenham Hotspur SF Racing Team came back down to earth with a bump in round two at Germany's famous Nurburgring at the weekend.
We started in joint-second place in the all-new motor-racing championship but two retirements saw us slip down to eighth.
Driver Duncan qualified in 11th place on the grid on Saturday for the first race on Sunday morning.
However, he spun off the track on lap 19 to take 13th place overall.
The grid positions were switched for race two and Duncan found himself starting from fourth place. Unfortunately, he made contact with the car representing Al Ain, lost his front left wing and was forced to retire.
The Nurburgring races were won by AC Milan and PSV Eindhoven respectively while Beijing Guoan maintained their place at the top of the table.
