The lads are determined to return to winning ways after losing our unbeaten away record in the Premiership at Portsmouth on Monday.
Having also lost our home record last time out at the Lane against Manchester United almost a month ago, there is a feeling that three points are a must this weekend.
"It's one of those games especially on the back of result we've just had that's a big game we need to win," said Michael, who made his Spurs debut at Fratton Park.
"Two games ago the lads went to Everton and won after losing to Manchester United, we then went to Portsmouth perhaps expecting to get something but it wasn't to be.
"It's ups and downs. If we can get the three points on Saturday everything is rosy again - so roll on Saturday.
"We can't be too disappointed after the start we've had. You are going to drop points at some stage and it's all about how you bounce back. Saturday is a big game for us now."
It's the in-word in football - and Michael Carrick believes we need to show a degree of 'bouncebackability' against Bolton on Saturday.
