As the first team continue to impress in the Vodacom Challenge in South Africa, it's business as usual at Spurs Lodge with first team players recovering from injury and our development and Academy squads being put through their paces.Mido returned to training on Wednesday morning as Gareth Bale, Young-Pyo Lee, Ledley King, Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto all continue their rehabilitation.

Development coach Clive Allen has overseen two pre-season friendlies so far against Dartford FC and Staines Town and our Spurs XI are back in action on July 31 at Rushden & Diamonds.

Having beaten Swiss side Bellinzona – a senior team that just missed out on promotion to the top flight – 4-2 in a pre-season friendly, our Academy lads return to action with a friendly against Norwich City on Saturday.
