The versatile defender followed up a disappointing debut campaign wrecked by injury by featuring in 37 games for us last term.
That was 29 games more than his first season and he believes he's now well placed to kick on again next time around.
The ever-honest Serbia-Montenegro international said: "It was good for me to play so many games and I definitely think I can improve a lot next season. That is my target.
"I came through a long injury and I just wanted to play consistently. I also played lots of positions this season and didn't really play in my best position, as sweeper.
"I've learned a lot about the team and the Premiership and I'm looking forward to next season.
"I think I can improve a lot and that's something I want to show everyone, especially the supporters and the people who brought me to the club in the first place."
Goran Bunjevcevic is determined to show the supporters what he can do next season.
