'Bunje' was slightly uncomfortable in his original mask that he felt impaired his vision a little bit when playing. He must wear his protective covering for a further two weeks for insurance purposes.
He lined up in central defence against Coventry after playing in midfield in the draw with West Ham the week before. By playing at the back he tested himself with more headers and came through without difficulty.
"It's good now, I feel very good, very comfortable," reported Goran. I need one week more for the insurance of this injury - Finidi George suffered the same sort of crash against Fulham and will be out for six or seven weeks.
"I am very pleased to be back in the squad and playing in the reserve team.
"The mask is very good, this one is a little invisible and it is okay. I must wear the mask for two more weeks because of insurance, but I'm very pleased with it.
"We did another one, this one is a new mask and is better, a bigger size. With the last one I didn't have such good visibility and this is a smaller one, longer on the side I got injured. Maybe I can be specialist in these sort of masks!"
Goran now targets a return to first team action, but accept that it will not be easy to break back into a winning team.
"I feel sharp, I've trained with the squad, but it is very hard now to get into the squad because they are playing very well.
"All the trainings that we had in pre-season are now coming good at the right time and we've got great players."
Goran Bunjevcevic reports a clean bill of health after playing a second reserve game wearing a different mask.
