He feels that Gus Poyet's late strike to bag maximum points against the Blues has lifted some of the mounting pressure on both players and management after a disappointing March.
"We are all delighted with the win," said Goran at Spurs Lodge. "I think we deserved it after a few games that haven't gone our way and it is a relief for all of us.
"Now we can concentrate on the next game with a little of the pressure off our backs.
"We will be confident for Leeds and I look forward to trying to play some good football."
Yet Goran pointed out how typical of our luck it was to see Leeds hit Charlton for six at the Valley at the weekend. It followed five straight defeats as the Yorkshire outfit slid dangerously towards the relegation zone.
"I've told everyone - every team we play next have a great result," smiled Goran.
"Imagine Leeds scoring six goals at Charlton where it is difficult to even score one goal.
"I don't know, maybe that is good for us. Maybe they will be too confident and we will have the chance to play well.
"I remember last season we played well up there and conceded silly goals. I'm sure we will be confident again this time."
Goran Bunjevcevic believes we can travel to Leeds United on Saturday with renewed confidence after the vital win against Birmingham City.
