Like the Yugoslav suggested beforehand, the struggling Wearsiders did not provide any easy pickings and it took the third goal from Simon Davies to finally drain the spirit and allow the team to express their natural passing game.
"It was a really hard game, but when you are leading 3-1 it is easier to play," reflected Goran.
"All the lads enjoyed it and are pleased because we are now in a good position with some big games coming.
"This first home game of two and, like I said, it was always going to be important. The result was perfect for us and I think we are going to get stronger and stronger.
"We have another home game in two weeks time and we will prepare well for that one now. It is a chance for us to go further."
