Bunje back in reserve action

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Goran Bunjevcevic will continue his recovery from a fractured cheekbone in reserve team action tonight.

The defender will take his place in another strong-looking side as Colin Calderwood's outfit take on Watford in the FA Premier Reserve League at Stevenage Borough FC (7pm).

Ben Thatcher, Anthony Gardner, Alton Thelwell, Simon Davies, Oyvind Leonhardsen are also in the starting line-up.

Boss Colin said: "It's a slightly younger side than we've had in recent weeks but it's a chance for the boys who have had to sit on the bench.

"We've given them an idea of what we want and they've watched and listened to the more senior players who have been in front of them and now it's a chance for them to show what they can do.

"Every game is a trial anyway, first team all the way through, and there are very few games that are of little importance."

Colin added that in his opinion, the younger the side the better.

He said: "There has to be a progression and the chance for younger professionals and the boys who are in the Academy at the moment to come in and play in reserve team football.

"The more and more that happens and the younger we can make our reserve team, the better it will be for the club."
