A delegation of 25 Chinese government officials visited White Hart Lane on Monday (June 29) as part of the UK/China 400 future leaders exchange programme.

Working in partnership with the British Council, the Club hosted Chinese delegates lead by the Director of the All China Youth Federation international department.

The tour was part of a Haringey Council Youth Service and British Council initiative aimed to inspire and motivate people in China and the UK to develop themselves as global citizens.

The delegates also visited the Civic Centre where they will meet with cabinet members from Haringey Youth Council, Haringey Members of Youth Parliament and young advisors.

UK/China 400 hopes to broaden the international perspective of young leaders, change perceptions of young people in both countries and to develop existing and new community links between the UK and China.

The first team squad will be travelling to China as part of our pre-season schedule.

We fly out to Beijing for the Barclays Asia Trophy where we face West Ham on July 29 before taking on either Hull City or local side Beijing Gouan on July 31.
