Paul Robinson believes we have signed a fine prospect in his former Leeds United teammate Aaron Lennon.
The 18-year-old made an impressive first appearance in Spurs colours in the first half of Saturday's 3-0 win over Stevenage, setting up the opening goal for Fredi Kanoute. Robbo, who was on the pitch at the Lane when Aaron made his Premiership debut for Leeds the season before last, believes this is a sign of things to come from the speedy wideman.
"Aaron is a great player and a great young lad," said the goalkeeper who is on his way to South Korea to continue his rehabilitation from a knee injury with the rest of the squad. "He is very, very, very quick and can play on the right side or up front.
"He is quick, can run with the ball and delivers a good final ball at the end of it.
"I'm sure we will see something of him in the first team during the season but, if we don't see the whole benefit this year, in years to come he will be a great player for us."
