Meanwhile, the two Captains and Team Manager Kevin Barrett collected their shirts ahead of their entry on Tuesday 1st May.
Bounds Green’s entry into the competition brings the number of teams up to ten. All teams are from the borough and playing for honours in the League, Cup and All Star Competition at the White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre.
The Tottenham Hotspur Community League project is delivered in partnership with Positive Futures, the Noel Park and Bounds Green Safer Neighbourhoods Teams and Haringey Council
The League started in January with eight teams from different housing estates in Haringey competing in two groups over five weeks in league and cup competition. The sixth and final week involves an ‘All Star’ team, which is made up of one player from each of the eight estate teams, playing against a Police team at the end the of each six-week round of matches.
The Club's highly successful Community League Programme took another step forward this week when two teams from Bounds Green entered the league.Councillors Matt Cooke, Ali Demirci, John Oakes and MP Lynne Featherstone were present at the stadium along with the Neighbourhood Management and Safer Neighbourhood Teams from Bounds Green.
