John Bostock started as England Under-19s cruised into the Elite qualifying round of the European Championships on Sunday.

The midfielder on loan for the season at Hull City played 56 minutes of the 4-0 win against Cyprus in the second match of the First qualifying round in Malmedy, Belgium.

John went close with an early free-kick as a hat-trick from Benik Afobe and one from Jonjo Shelvey saw England home with a game to spare.

Harry Kane - who scored twice in England's first game on Friday night, a 6-1 win against Albania - was rested and un unused substitute.

The Three Lions now meet hosts Belgium to decide the winners of the group on Wednesday afternoon.

The Elite qualifying round (28 teams) of the competition is drawn in November with the matches played next spring. The finals follow in Romania next summer.
