As he reflected on a disappointing conclusion to the recently ended campaign, the boss reiterated his belief and stated his determination that success can be achieved with more luck on the injury front and a freshening of the squad during the summer.
"There's things to learn from and there are things to improve on," he said. "There is certainly a lot of things to be done - we know that.
"We've given too many goals away as a team and individual errors have cost us. Plus the fact that we've had an injury list as long as your arm and people have been out for too long.
"With the season closing we got Christian and Jamie back and it is all over for us. We've got to make sure they stay fit through the summer and are raring to go again.
"I believe, if we can get things right in the summer with the buying and we can have a relatively injury free season for key players, we can turn it around and get success for Tottenham - I am determined to do that."
Glenn Hoddle conceded that there are things to improve on as he looked ahead to next season.
