Boss opts for Kaizer mix

Posted on 29 July 2003  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle says he'll mix things up for Tuesday's friendly clash against Kaizer Chiefs in Cape Town.

The boss has already confirmed that both Ledley King, Bobby Zamora and goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld are unlikely to play in the second leg of our tour of South Africa.

He may also bring the likes of Robbie Keane, Darren Anderton and Goran Bunjevcevic into the starting line-up having started them on the bench against Orlando Pirates.

"We'll start with a different team and that's what pre-season is about sometimes, giving players 90 minutes of football," said Glenn.

"We've always planned to play a different side from the one that played against Pirates.

"Pre-season is also about integrating players together, seeing which gel and it will be interesting to see how things work out.

"But the approach will be the same. We lost a game on Saturday but it was a pre-season game and we move on. We'll be preparing the same way."
