Booth back to Huddersfield

Posted on 22 March 2001  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Andy Booth has re-joined his hometown club Huddersfield from Sheffield Wednesday in a transfer deadline day deal.

The powerful striker, who enjoyed a one-month loan spell at Spurs in February, heads to the McAlpine Stadium for a £200,000 fee.

Booth made three starts for Spurs after being drafted in as cover for the then injured Les Ferdinand, Steffen Iversen and Chris Armstrong. He did not score during that time, but was unlucky to have a powerful header chalked off for offside during his debut in the goalless draw at West Ham.
