Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

This afternoon’s match is the 37th League meeting between the two clubs here. Of the previous 36 we have won 22, Bolton eight with six drawn matches.

Last season’s corresponding fixture - played on November 1, 2003 - saw Bolton win 1-0. Kevin Nolan notched the only goal in the 72nd minute. The crowd figure was 35,191. That was Wanderers’ first League win here since November, 1959. Their 11 League visits since had yielded two drawn games and nine defeats.

Our last League win here over Bolton was on October 20, 2002 when second half goals from Robbie Keane (2) and Simon Davies secured a 3-1 victory. Youri Djorkaeff scored for the visitors.

Simon Davies is due to make the 200th appearance of his club career this afternoon. He made his senior debut for Peterborough United against Hull City on January 24, 1998 and went on to make 75 first team appearances for Posh, scoring six goals, until joining us during January, 2000.

Simon’s tally in our colours stands at 124 appearances, netting 18 goals. His present total of 199 matches comprises 170 League appearances plus 29 in domestic cup competitions.
