Bob's brace helps in forward race

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Bobby Zamora was delighted to bag a couple of goals for the reserves at Ipswich on Wednesday night - a quick reminder of his capabilities with all four senior strikers at the club now fit.

He concedes it's a tough task breaking into the starting line-up with the likes of Fredi Kanoute, Robbie Keane and Helder Postiga around.

"It's nice to get a couple of goals," said Bobby at Portman Road. "There is plenty of competition and I suppose it has to help.

"The team did well and created a lot of goals for everyone and we came through with a win."

Bobby and Helder spearheaded our attack in an enthralling game at Portman Road.

Town went ahead, Bobby levelled, Town forged ahead 2-1, Bobby cracked home a volley for 2-2, Helder hit the post, Town missed a penalty and Stephane Dalmat finally sealed it for us 3-2.

Both front men had further chances and hoem keeper Andy Marshall denied Bobby a hat-trick on a few occasions.

"Yes, there were a few more chances but I was delighted with two goals," added Bobby. "It was a good performance and a good work out for myself, Helder and a few of the other lads. It was ideal really."
