The central defender has spent most of the week on international duty for England and featured in the friendly against Sweden. With him in the England camp were Stamford Bridge stars John Terry, Scott Parker and Joe Cole, who Anthony reports are pretty confident ahead of the encounter.
"I'm looking forward to the game," said the new international. "The Chelsea boys with England were teasing me saying they are coming to the Lane this weekend and are ready for us. I think they do fancy their chances.
"They have got the game coming up against Arsenal on Tuesday and might have half an eye on that, so hopefully we can take advantage.
"We need the win and it is always good to play against teams like Chelsea - especially at home."
Central defenders preparing to face the blues these days have little idea of which strikers they will come up against on the - perm any two from Mutu, Crespo, Gudjohnson and Hasselbaink.
"I think you have just got to gear yourself up to face whoever plays," added Anthony. "They are all class players, but you face these sort of players every week these days in the Premiership."
