Blow for Noe

Posted on 5 April 2005  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Noe Pamarot faces a spell on the sidelines after suffering cruciate ligament damage at Birmingham City on Saturday.

The French defender fell awkwardly in the 12th minute of the 1-1 draw at St Andrews.

Our Head of Medical Services, Dr Charlotte Cowie, explained: "Noe has torn the anterior cruciate ligament on his right knee and he's probably looking at a reconstructive operation.

"The standard rehabilitation time after an injury like this is six to nine months."

Head Coach Martin Jol was naturally disappointed. "It's a blow for Noe and a blow for us," he said. "It's unfortunate because he's adapted well to the English game. Everyone at the club hopes he can get back as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, Dr Cowie confirmed that both Reto Ziegler and Noureddine Naybet suffered hamstring problems at Birmingham City - we'll have updated news on those injuries in our Treatment Table later this week.
