The Belgian star cracked a bone in his left ring finger in our friendly at Oxford and, despite feeling fully fit, he has been unable to play since.
Thankfully, the metal contraption repairing the damage was finally removed on Thursday night and the youngster is raring to go.
"I'm hungry for football and I want to play," said Jon at Spurs Lodge. "I feel good, I've been able to train and although I haven't been able to play, I feel fit.
"I have the pin removed on Thursday night and after that I am ready to start fully again."
It was put to him how something so small could cause so much damage.
"It is just a finger!" he smiled. "I have no injury in my legs for the last year or so. As I said, I feel fit and it's frustrating not to be able to play.
"On Monday I am hoping to play against Arsenal and after that, I hope to get into the first team squad again."
