Blondel set for move back home

Posted on 28 January 2004  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

The club can announce that we have reached agreement with Club Bruges for the permanent transfer of Jonathan Blondel.

Midfielder Jon, 19, is discussing personal terms and the club hope to confirm his transfer shortly.

Director of football and acting boss David Pleat explained: "Although we had high hopes of Jonathan he's found it very difficult to settle and we all feel he will benefit from a move back home."

Jon joined us from Royal Excelsior Mouscron in the summer of 2002. His progress in pre-season was hampered when he suffered a broken finger in a friendly at Oxford that kept him out for six weeks.
