Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Jonathan Blondel was delighted he made the most of his Carling Cup chance to make a positive impression against West Ham on Wednesday evening.

The Belgian midfielder was a prominent figure in the hour he was on the pitch having replaced Christian Ziege. David Pleat commented afterwards that Jonathan and fellow sub OJ Mabizela significantly altered the course of the game.

"I really enjoyed it and hope that I can get on the subs bench more from now on so I that I can come on again," said a happy Jonathan. "It is better for me.

"I wanted to do something on the pitch because I have not had much time to show what I can do. I really wanted to do something good."

Jonathan added that his display against the Hammers gives him great hope of future involvement.

"Yes, I hope I can get in the squad for the next games."
