Black armbands, minute's silence on Saturday

Posted on 2 December 2016  - 08:55

Our players will join those of Swansea City - and clubs across the Premier League - in wearing black armbands during Saturday's match at White Hart Lane as a mark of respect to the players and staff of Brazilian team Chapecoense who tragically lost their lives in a plane crash in Colombia earlier this week.

A minute's silence will also be held prior to kick-off in memory of those who perished.

Kick-off on Saturday is scheduled for 3pm and, while all supporters are advised to get to the ground as early as possible to avoid congestion at the stadium entry points, those entering the stadium close to kick-off are asked to be mindful of the minute's silence when they take their seats.

There will be similar tributes paid at all Premier League fixtures this weekend.
