Big game for Croatian quartet

Luka Modric admits the pressure is on for our four players on duty with Croatia over the next few days - even though they top their Euro 2012 qualifying group.

Nevertheless, the midfielder sees Saturday night's match against Israel in Ramat Gan as a ‘must win' in Group F after a goalless draw at home to Greece last time out.

Luka is in the Croatian squad alongside Spurs team-mates Vedran Corluka, Niko Kranjcar and Stipe Pletikosa.

They are determined to make it to the finals in 2012 after the agony of missing out on a place in this summer's World Cup.

"We're under big pressure especially after drawing against Greece at home," Luka told us after our 2-1 win against Villa. "For us, this is a must-win match.

"We have good experience against Israel, we've beaten them twice, and I don't see any reason why we can't beat them again.

"I think we can handle that pressure and show our quality and win that game.

"People expect us to qualify and we have to qualify because we didn't qualify for the World Cup."
